iFrame integrations at trember

You asked for it, and we made it! Now on premium plans, iFrame integration is accessible for all your favourite tools: from Google Docs to Miro, from Slido to Canva.

Unlike some other video solutions, we do not limit your (and your guests) creativity. You can easily add any website via iFrame to the board in any place or to the scene in the Stage-view regime. Here's how it looks:

Please note that some websites do not allow integrate their pages as iFrames or are not secure. In this case, we cannot embed them. Also, the more iFrames you have, the more time it takes to upload all of them, so we recommend you limit the number of iFrames in one room to three.

iFrame can be added by you as an event or meeting organizer or virtual office owner, or by your guests. Unless you limit the ability of guests to do it, it can be easily done – with one click.

What can be embedded

For conferences and events

🌐 Your website

📋 Presentations (PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides)

To add a presentation, you need to convert it into iFrame. For this, you can use:
- Embed your PPT file
- Publish your Google Slides presentation to the web and use autogenerated embedding code – fits only public materials, as published documents can be indexed by search engines
- Publish your PowerPoint presentation privately or publicly at Slideshare, Presono  or a similar service. Even Figma can be used for presentation services (in Prototype mode) – let us know if you need help with setup.
- Publish you Canva presentation (can be played automatically)
- Let us know which service you use, and we will make sure that it can be embedded

🙋 Interactive submission of questions

We already have a “Raise hand” function and ability to come onto a stage from the audience and to ask a question but big events require a preliminary submission of questions.

✔️ Polls

Alternatively, you can pose questions to the audience and show (if needed) results to them.
For Q&A and polls, you can use Sli.do or Teambits

❓Surveys

If you need to post a proper questionnaire, you can use tools that you are used to: Google Forms or Typeform or any other similar service.

📺 Videos

We already have integration via API with Vimeo and Youtube, but now you can integrate any player of your choice with iFrame.
Please note that in case of iFrame, if it’s not a Livestream, the video will be played asynchronously – must be started by every guest.

📄 Documents

Same as with a presentation, you can embed Google Doc or Sheet in a special format for viewing by making it public.

For workshops and remote collaborative work

🙏 Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for collaboration: editing or commenting

You can work together on Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides by posting an iframe with the following code:

<iframe src="YOUR LINK" style="border:0px #ffffff none;" name="myiFrame" scrolling="no" frameborder="1" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" height="400px" width="600px" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Please ensure that all collaborators have the right type of access (editing, commenting, or viewing). As a rule of thumb, if another guest is able to edit a document via direct URL in the same browser where trember is opened, (s)he will be able to edit it in iFrame as well.

📌 Miro

You can edit or present Miro file by copying embedding code.

Code that you can insert should start with <iframe src= and finish with </iframe>. Let us know if you have another format of embedding code or if you need assistance.
